Nansha area of Guangdong free trade zone will be built into a demonstration area of deep cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

Nansha New Area "international shipping hub" set sail

Nansha New Area, located in the southern end of Guangzhou, is located at the mouth of the Pearl River. It is one of the most important sea routes in Guangzhou and the geographical center and hub of the urban agglomeration in the Great Pearl River Delta. On April 21 last year, Nansha New Area, together with Shenzhen Qianhai and Zhuhai Hengqin, ushered in the formal listing of China (Guangdong) pilot free trade zone. Aiming at the international shipping hub, Nansha New Area sets sail.

"I like Nansha, just as sharks like the sea, and goshawks love the sky." Long Xuesong, a former "coal boss" from Jincheng, Shanxi Province, registered 34 companies (associations) in Nansha New Area, including cross-border commodity display, parallel import cars, shipping financial leasing, etc., and built a "Big Mac" platform called "Egret headquarters". As of April 20 this year, there were 10802 new enterprises in Nansha New Area, with a new registered capital of 111.3 billion yuan, 50 world top 500 enterprises successively settled in, and shipping logistics, innovative finance, financial leasing, cross-border e-commerce and other industries gradually formed a trend of agglomeration.

In terms of promoting investment facilitation and customs clearance trade facilitation, more than one "Nansha mode" was born: "11 certificates and three chapters joint operation", the first government purchase inspection service, the first customs rapid inspection and release mechanism, the first "intelligent inspection port", and the first international trade "single window" version 2.0 was launched

The key to building an international shipping center is to make the port bigger and stronger. In just one year, six 100000 DWT container berths at Nansha Port Phase III terminal have been completed, which can berth container ships with larger tonnage in the world; 28 inland dry ports have been built, and the total number of international liner routes has reached 74; the construction of cruise home port has been started, and routes to Hong Kong, Sanya, Da Nang and gonggu island have been opened successively. In 2015, the container throughput of Nansha Port reached 11.77 million TEUs, ranking the 12th in the world. At the same time, the shipbuilding industry in Nansha New Area has a bright future. During the 13th Five Year Plan period, China Shipbuilding Group will invest 15 billion yuan to build a marine equipment industrial base in Longxue, Nansha. Based on Guangzhou, it will further radiate the Beibu Gulf and Southeast Asia.

Baiyun International aviation hub

Seafood from Australia can be transported to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport within 36 hours. After customs, border inspection, inspection and quarantine, it can be delivered to the seafood market around Guangzhou citizens within 12 hours. Baiyun Airport comprehensive bonded zone is a large-scale airport type comprehensive bonded zone in China. At present, there are more than 260 enterprises of various types, covering bonded logistics, warehousing and distribution, cross-border e-commerce, processing, customs declaration agency and other industries.

"If Guangzhou wants to participate in international competition, it must gather high-end elements in the global industrial chain, innovation chain and value chain. International aviation hub is an important resource, platform and carrier for building a central city." More and more intensive routes, logistics more and more developed!

At 7:30 on May 7, the Finnish airliner from Helsinki successfully arrived at Baiyun Airport. So far, there are 72 airlines in operation at Baiyun Airport, including 47 foreign airlines; more than 270 routes have been opened, including more than 100 international routes and more than 70 international navigation points. The airport terminal 2 project and its supporting projects are being pushed forward. In addition, the Guangzhou based China Southern Airlines Group has a transport capacity of 180 aircraft in Guangzhou, and there are 141 navigation points connecting Guangzhou with the world. Guangdong Branch of China Eastern Airlines has also successfully settled in Baiyun. During the 13th Five Year Plan period, it plans to operate 30 aircraft.

In January this year, the administrative measures for Guangzhou airport economic zone were issued, and the 116 square kilometers of Baiyun District was designated as the key development zone of the airport economic zone. In the future, the airport economic zone will accelerate the development of airport industry cluster, with the construction of China Australia New Korea Free Trade Industrial Park, Guangzhou airport cross-border e-commerce cluster area, and precious goods distribution and trading center. At present, FedEx Asia Pacific transfer center, Postal Express South China processing center, and R & F logistics have successively settled in, and the annual international cargo handling capacity of Baiyun Airport will be increased to 1.5 million tons. "In the future, the airport can reach the central city in 20 minutes and cover the Pearl River Delta in one hour, greatly enhancing the regional radiation power." Air traffic is faster, and ground traffic is not willing to lag behind. At present, on the basis of the existing 9 subways, 13 railways, high-speed railways and intercity tracks, Guangzhou is planning to build 8 railways from Guangzhou to Hainan, Shaanxi, Guangxi, Yunnan (Southeast Asia), Beijing, Shanghai, Macao and Hong Kong, as well as 11 subways with a total length of 303 km. At that time, with Guangzhou as the center, a strategic channel connecting East and West Guangdong, Beibu Gulf, southwest, Southeast and Yangtze River Delta will be built.
